  •  Papyrus installation

    Papyrus may be installed :
    As a standalone product (RCP versions) for Windows win32 series (XP) and Linux/gtk-x86. For other platforms, install a modeling bundle (see section required configuration below) for your platform and install papyrus via the update-site.

     Standalone Papyrus installation

    This archive contains the Papyrus UML Eclipse Rich Client Platform (standalone version of Papyrus) for Windows and Linux/gtk-x86 (32-bits).

     Update site installation

    Papyrus may be installed over an existing Eclipse installation using the following update site (HowTo) :

    It is also possible to download archived update site and to proceed to their installation (HowTo) locally. The archived update site for Papyrus is accessible via the links below.

     Required configuration

    Following requirement must be met by your system in order to install Papyrus :

    • Java 5 (or higher) version of Java virtual machine
    • Eclipse Modeling Bundle (Galileo, see below)
    • ANTLR (see below)

     Troubleshooting


    • Linux/KDE users: if Eclipse does not react to mouse clicks, set GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS to true
    • If you are behind a proxy, add the following to eclipse.ini
      -Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.excludeContributors=org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.httpclient
      -Dhttp.proxyPort=your proxy port
      -Dhttp.proxyHost=your proxy host
      -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=localhost|127.0.0.1
